Anthurium Ralph Lynam × BVEP Seedling

An interesting cross combining two highly regarded velvet Anthurium lines.

This seedling is showing an elongated heart-shaped leaf with a defined sinus, gently rounded lobes and a clean, tapered tip. The foliage currently carries a muted deep green to olive tone with a soft velvety finish and subtle venation.

Ralph Lynam is valued for its elegant leaf shape and refined velvet character, while BVEP is well known for its darker foliage, thicker texture and distinctive mature form. This pairing has the potential to develop a nice balance between elongated structure and darker velvet characteristics as it matures.

As with all seed-grown hybrids, each plant is genetically unique and mature characteristics may continue to change as the plant develops.
